Singapore / California – 28.10.2025 — Semnet, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider specializing in Zero-Trust architecture and enterprise data protection, today announced a strategic partnership with Netformx, a global leader in data-driven data centre design, configuration automation, and lifecycle optimization tools used by global service providers and large enterprises.

This partnership combines Semnet’s strong customer presence across Southeast Asia with Netformx’s extensive reach in North America and Western markets, enabling both companies to jointly deliver AI-ready data center architectures with integrated security, lifecycle management, and resilient data protection.

Riding the Global AI Data Centre Expansion Wave

The rapid adoption of generative AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing is fueling a surge in new data center developments worldwide. However, AI-first data centers require fundamentally different architectures: higher-density workload orchestration, more complex network switching, precision cooling and power distribution, and security that protects both operational systems and the underlying data models.

Netformx brings decades of specialization in automated infrastructure design, cost-optimized configuration, and compliance verification, widely used by hyperscalers, telcos, and global system integrators. Its technology enables organizations to model, assess, validate, optimize and protect highly complex data center environments with significantly reduced deployment timelines and error risk.

AI data centers are no longer static facilities—they’ve evolved into dynamic compute ecosystems,” said Jacob Ukelson, CTO of Netformx. “By integrating Netformx discovery, design intelligence, and maintenance capabilities with Semnet’s zero-trust cybersecurity and distributed data protection, we’re providing organizations with the insight and blueprint to build secure, scalable, and future-ready AI infrastructure.

Strengthening Data Security with Semnet’s Distributed Encryption and Zero-Trust

Architecture

Semnet will integrate its Vaultrex Distributed Key Orchestration System, which uses Asymmetric Multi-Key Secret Sharing to split encryption keys across independent trust nodes. Decryption can only occur when a defined multi-party quorum authorizes access, removing the single-point-of-compromise risk present in traditional key storage.

To secure the data itself, Vaultrex enforces cryptographic attestation for every encryption and decryption request, ensuring that access cannot be replayed or executed covertly. The resulting high-entropy, non-deterministic ciphertext offers no patterns for analysis, and the ephemeral quorum-based key reconstruction means there is no offline brute-force path to decryption, even if encrypted data is intercepted.

Beyond Vaultrex, Semnet integrates best-in-class cybersecurity solutions across identity control, network segmentation, endpoint protection, and behavioral threat analytics, forming a multi-layered, zero-trust security posture suitable for mission-critical AI environments.

AI adoption has outpaced security readiness,” said Melvin Chan, CEO of Semnet. “This partnership enables us to deliver AI data centers that are secure-by-design. Even in the event of a breach, the data remains cryptographically protected and resilient. That is the standard enterprise and sovereign systems now require.
